Coincidence or Fate? Or is my city that small.lol.?

2 months ago my mom began telling me about this nice respectful and sweet guy that just began working with her. At first i paid no attention but she pressed on about it. She said he works all night with her then goes to school during the day. She found that we went to the same college and wondered if we knew of eachother. She showed me a pic of him and him of me. I was shocked to find that this was the same guy that i had been interested in in college! It's been a year since ive seen him. I used to see him by himself everywhere,but i couldnt muster up to talk to him. When he saw the picture my mom said that he said the same thing as i did. That he saw me everywhere, school,library, bus etc. She asked if he was talking to someone and he said he juust started regretfully as if he wasnt really interested in the girl. So a few weeks later my mom gave him my #. It has been two weeks and he didnt call. Hes the hy type and is very busy. Is there still hope? Fate or coincedence? Weird huh?
