Are plum, violet, purple, and lilac considered "girl" colors?

***by some, but not all. I have a friend who loves those colors and has them as touches in ties, shirts, etc. I talked him into it and he now wears the colors all the time. I think it's great. My husband even has shirts with those colors in it. Some of them are bolder than others, but who cares??? As long as you like them and are secure with yourself and your choices. . . . that's what matters!!!
