Need ideas on how to keep hotdogs warm at an outdoor party?

I want to serve hot dogs at my child's pirate party but they will be set up in boats made of cardstock with skewers holding a pirate sail stuck in it. Good place for catfish?

There is a small slow river tributary that feeds into the mouth of a larger river that creates a deep pool with muddy banks and snags nearby. I have been fishing it with cut shad, liver, and shrimp but haven't had much luck. I feel pretty sure it would be a hotspot for catfish. 14 month old with elevated LDH and ESR, slightly low HCT, swollen lymph nodes in neck, armpits and groin,?

on January 1st 2010, we noticed what appeared to be a swollen lymph node on my 14 month old granddaughters neck just below her ear, it was red and painful, she was taken to the doctor and put on a round of antibiotics, it went down some but another node appeared behind her ear, again a round of antibiotics was given , also blood work was taken, 2 weeks later at the doctors office, we were told her blood work had some elevated levels in nonspecific areas, and to come back in two weeks to see how she is doing, during this time she ran fevers for a couple of days, was sick with a "cold" or something a couple of times..at the next visit she was found to have more lymph nodes swollen in her armpit and now her groin area, both sides. her mother told the doctor she wasn't eating well, and slept a lot as well. and the first lump we found below her ear was red again. At this point the doctor said she didn't think that the one below her ear was even a lymph node but it felt more like a cyst now. and the other lymph nodes are still swollen. more blood work was taken, also noted she had lost a few ounces in weight. the blood work came back with still elevated levels of LDH and ESR and slightly low HCT, the LDH levels were in the 400's the first time and 300's the last time, she said she was testing her for cancer with the last round of blood work, and also did swabs for every virus and a HIV test and TB test, all of which were negative. Now she still doesn't know what is wrong with the baby, and is sending her to a infectious disease doctor..does anyone have any idea or know of any better tests we should be doing, this has been going on for over 2 months, would like to catch whatever it is as early as possible.

Yea, this seems pretty odd to happen unless it is some sort of allergic reaction. The skin will most likely get back to normal eventually. It might help to apply lotion to moisturize the area. In the mean time, I would only rinse with water, and certainly not shampoo. Not just because of the possible reaction, but also because they dry out the skin. Everyone has some sort of wrinkles.

When my cat was a year old, he started developing crystals in his urine. The vet put him on a special diet of Feline C/D. We had no more problems for six years. Unfortunatly, he has just developed an allergy to his food. It caused him to break out in crusty scabs. The vet gave us Prednisone to clear it up, and now he seems fine. But the vet told us that if it happens again, we'll have to change his diet. I am trying to get as informed as possible BEFORE this problem happens again. Does anyone know of any other good quality foods we can try him on that prevent urinary crystals, just in case? Thanks!

I would get up every morning with a headache.After I went to the dentist she told me I had TMJ and that I have to wear a dental guard on my upper jaw every night. It did help with the pain and soon I stopped waking up with a bad headache. My dentist told me I had to stop relying on the dental guard, so I stopped wearing it for a period of 2mnths. I have not experienced any pain since I stopped wearing it but I have recently noticed (some1 brought to my attention)that my upper jaw seems to have protruded forward. Did this happen because I stopped wearing it, if yes then how is it possible or is this a side effect of the TMJ?

Why wont Winterboard work?

I jailbroke my ipod 2nd gen 4.2.1 and it went fine. i have cydia and am able to download things except it wont let me download Winterboard. Instead of the usual window that opens that tells me how much space it takes up and such, it says "the requested modifications cannot be applied due to required dependencies or conflicts that cannot be automatically found or fixed" and below it says "depends" with preferenceloader and libhide >=2.0.4 ,do i have to download these? if so how?

2 months ago my mom began telling me about this nice respectful and sweet guy that just began working with her. At first i paid no attention but she pressed on about it. I'm in year 12 at school and we have been made to go back to school after completing our AS levels in order to supposedly start the A2 course. However this hasn't really happened and we have literally been doing sod all in most lessons. It's got to the extent where I'm being made to go into school for one lesson in an entire day. Now, when I turned up to one of my English lessons my teacher asked us if we wanted to make a collage using a magazine and a few colouring pencils. I was like WTF this is an English lesson not an art lesson for preschoolers. So instead she got us to sit round the computer watching her buy art equipment on ebay for another lower school lesson. To me this just seems wrong. I know it's the end of term but to me this is so unprofessional- it seems like she can't be bothered to teach us. Also my geography teacher forgot to turn up to one of our lessons and then he claimed he was engrossed in reading a book about rocks! My parents actually complained to my head of year, not about these specific incidents but generally about what a waste of time school has been. When he replies he claims that my teachers have said that I have not engaged in their lessons and that I have not had the initiative to catch up on work I've missed. It's like what work?! I don't think I'm being unreasonable here. I'm an incredibly hard working student who puts 110% into everything and I feel pretty hurt that my teachers turn on me just because they're being criticised. I love all my teachers but still I feel that some of this behaviour was just slightly disgraceful considering my parents are paying an awful lot of money to send me to that school. What do you think? It's just dawned on me that I'm in a really bad situation. I've been in a relationship for the past 6 months. Before then I was completely infatuated with the guy I finally succeeded in getting. In previous relationship, I've never felt completely comfortable, or I've sort of lost interest really quickly. But now, I am completely in love with my boyfriend. I've never felt this way before in my life. I put him on the biggest pedestal you could possibly imagine. But now I've realised that I'm not getting anything back. I love him so much, but it's like the only time he ever shows anything back is during ual . Other than that he just treats me like any other of his mates. Even below that. It occurred to me tonight that he prefers having a conversation with his friends than with me. We have this mutual friend who was at dinner with us tonight. When she left he gave her this great big hug. When he and I went back to our separate rooms tonight he just went without even hugging me. It's just like, he has no idea how much I think of him and then to him, he must never think of me when I'm not there with him. I always come second best to everyone else, whereas with me, no one could ever live up to him. Now I feel like an idiot because I've finally realised this and I find it very upsetting because no matter how much I love him, he'll never feel the same back. Does this mean that I have to grapple with all the love I feel towards him and end this relationship for purely selfish reasons?

All of us as humans are equal BUT we all have a different status'. For example, like you've just said; A teacher has a higher status than a pupil because the teachers are there to teach us and control us (not in a bad way but to keep us in line during cl), a boss has a higher status than an employee because the employee is working for their boss. You see? Now chavs are normally people who have an absolutely crap background. They most likely bully, swear like hell and either smoke, drink or do drugs. It's very stereotypical and although they may not do ALL of those things I mentioned, it's still true. This girl clearly doesn't have a good background if she's treating people with a higher status than her with disrespect. She probably has an anger problem or an attitude issue. This girl is politically incorrect so don't take what she said on board. The teacher will understand this too and there'll be many others who'll think like this girl and many others who think like us. People who know what to say and when to say and most importantly who we say it to. :)

Whew! That is a lot of caffeine. The problem with taking that much caffeine is that your body becomes dependent on artificial energy. Also, it increases heart rate which is definitely not good! Try progressively cutting it down to a couple cups of coffee a week. Let your body learn how to create it's own energy. You'll find you won't drag as much throughout the day.

Her mother and I are curently going through a court battle in regards to her residence. OK, so on Friday I have a little excursion with school where we all have to be in groups of 5 or 6. My friendship group is 10 so we're all okay so far. Only problem is, we were originally two separate groups. I had a battery charge misdimeanor 2 years ago. It got dismissed when I went to court. I have been on unemployment for these past two years, I applied for a job and got denied on my background for a misdimeanor/felony. If it got dismissed then why did it come up? My brother's grumpy old fart of a cat...?

My brother has 2 cats (both female) one is the grandmother of my kitty and the other is the mother (which makes them mother and daughter if you didn't catch that). Well... The grandmother of my cat isn't exactly that nice to my Neko. She actually beat him up and gave him a nice cut across his cute little nose. The mother also has issues (she has an excuse since she isn't fixed and therefore gets rather moody at times). The grandmother is a total sweetheart to me, she always rubs up against me and meows and purrs. The mother is a bit of a spaz (just like the son) but still ends up cuddling with me (especially when i have a bowl of food for her). My parents keep my brother's 2 cats in the back of the house away from my Neko since they just didn't seem to get along at all. What I don't understand is that they are family all 3 of them. Grandmother mother and son. So then why can't they just get along. They do get along at times but the grandmother is very quick to get angry and has even been known to beat up her own daughter. I think it's just a bit of a crappy and stressful environment (due to my parents lack of care for them). I try to spend as much time as I can with them to make them a little bit less crazy and make them feel loved, but then I feel like I'm neglecting my Neko. And now my parents are talking about moving out of state and just throwing the cats outside and letting them fend for themselves... So I have to go find a nice home for 2 cats (and maybe even my Neko which i HOPE is not the case) that only get along most of the time but end up kicking the crap out of eachother the other times. I think it's because one of the cats is fixed and the other isn't but my parents wont do anything to help the situation. I just don't know what to do... Poor kitties i feel so bad for them T-T

It did help a little, but after i had again, the problem came back, i went to buy the pill again for few times. up till now the problem still persists, there isnt any itch, but discharge is extremely smelly, no cheese like discharge thus i dont think it's yeast infection, and now due to heavy one day the skin around the vulva hurts, and if i use a tissue there's spotting blood, not sure if it's the friction that causes the burnt wound or the infection, but it has been a few days, and during the infection i hav pain on the right side during , which goes away after i become really wet, which i dont have this problem before. Is it possible to be HIV? or the symptons are of a fungal infection? if so, why after so many medications it still doesnt cure? Or is it after causes it to reoccur? does this mean that i will forever be smelly there?

My vet throws in a nail clip free but wing clips are extra.I suggest you ask the vet what is included in the check up and would he please let you know what is extra as you are not familiar with bird checkups. The vet should do a hands on exam of the bird ,look in his mouth and throat,listen to his heart and look in his eyes.He should give you suggestions or literature on general care. He might want to do a fecal check up for bacterial infections (easy to cure when caught early and not too expensive.) Any other tests can be discussed or postponed if money is a problem. They should also weigh your bird. I suggest you take a notebook with your questions written down as i can totally guarantee you will forget 95% of them if your bird is screaming or escapes in the office.and you are trying to talk to an unfamiliar vet. The company you worked for (temp agency) could have been fired from the whole job ignment because of you, and that admittedly poor attitude that day. You more than likely have been coded a "Not For Rehire" because of it. I think even if you do go back, write or phone, they will accept your apology, but not hire you back. I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news. I have never know a company to hire someone back that just walked away from an ignment. You may have been good at that good job, but there are all kinds of qualified people showing up for work at the agency. I am sorry this happened, I am just telling you the truth.

First see if they are really styrofoam. Lots of the packing peanuts today are organic- made from potatoes. But they look like styrofoam. Put a couple in water and see if they break down. If they do, just spray the yard with water. If they just float and don't break down- yep, styrofoam. So you'll have to rake them all up or hope for strong wind to send them down the road.
