People that I know are prank calling my job and posted a youtube video on it. Should I call the police?

They used one of those services where you can search by the person's name and got where I work and ****. Then did some more searching. The one person called my job and left a VM for the secretary saying I stole something from his car!!!!!!! This person lives in CA? Should I leave it alone and just tell them I don't know who the hell that is or should I call the police. Can I get fired for something like this?
