What is a current event issue that has to do with global warming?

factories emit smoke that contains chemicles that go into the air. people breathing, cows farting, bacteria digestion (a/k/a things rotting), etc. also emit chemicles that go into the air. sometimes when it rains the raindrops have some chemicles in them. if they are certain chemicles it is called acid rain. other chemicles, such as carbon dioxide, stay in the air and act as a blanket around the earth. this makes the earth warmer. as a result, glaciers melt, land shrinks, plants die, animals become extinct (or perhaps adapt via convergent or divergent evolution). the current administration has only recently acknowledged that human created pollution MAY be a problem. conservationsist argue that we should basically all change, NOW!!!
