Yes definitely, because YOU are writing the story, and there is no harm done in putting Jane Austen there, since you yourself decided that. Don't stop this idea. Who knows? People might enjoy your book, because they can relate to it, so do whatever you want! Writing is about taking risks! (but a little limitation is good too) Good Luck :)
