My cousin has a problem with her daughter...?

They have been going through a lot of tests lately trying to determine what she may have for an ailment. She is 6 now and she has fantasies and lies about everything. Even stupid stuff she lies about. I don't even know if she realizes she is doing it... She has fantasies about being with people on t.v. and she really imagines that she is with them.. She is a good kid, but a little socially akward. She also movers her hands all the time and her legs go out straight when she is excited... Sometimes she is so into her pretend playing she doesn't realize the world around her... My cousin is pulling her hair out. The doctors are playing around with Autism and Tourettes disorders... does this sound familiar to anyone? Thank you in advance for the help!
