I have a fear of new things?

I am very competitive at a video game called halo 3. I pride myself off of my skill. I play at tournaments and for a professional gaming league called Major League Gaming (mlgpro.com) The sequel of Halo 3 comes out this fall. It is set to be the new flagship game of the League. I am deathly afraid that I will not be able to transition to the new game and fail. I can't fathom being bad at the game and don't know what to do. Can someone please help me? What can I do!?
