Alligator in my dream. ?

For the past week i have been dreaming about alligators. I'll be sitting in my house and I'm terrified because when it becomes dark the gator will come from the lake and circle my house.( I don't even live near a lake) when I look outside from any position on my house it's always there just staring back at me. I always wake up before anything else happens
