Who owns title of a vehicle once a judgement is made for non payment? the financer or the person with the car?

I purchased a car in 1999. it stopped working and needed major repairs...financially, it broke me, but i payed until i could pay no more. I had 3 payments left...along with stupid fees. So they took me to court and sued for more than I owed. That was 2 years ago---maybe 3. My question is, who has title to the vehicle. they will not pick it up because it doesn't even work anymore. and they still want me to pay the judgement...so whose car is it...mine or theirs? can i get a salvage or abandonment title? In virginia....need to know...
