Why do conservatives consistently equate communism to laziness even though communism works people to death?

This is what I don't understand. How are they think lazy, fat and worthless of the US are crying for communism when EVERY communist country forces people to work at slave wages (if you're paid at all)? Every country that eventually falls for communist propaganda eventually does so because the people are starving. Not because they want free doritos, pot and frozen white castle burgers from wal-mart. You people no sense. I'm a liberal with a profession and the last thing I'd ever want is to live in a communist society. The communist threat died 20 years ago guys... move on to your new boogie man which has been muslims for the past 10 or so years. Get with the times.
