I think your short-sighted, I am too. Means things from distance, such as objects, or the white board, is blurry, but with gles, it's perfect. So, yes, I think you will be getting gles. Eyesight is nothing to do with hormones. If you can't READ close up, then you could also be long-sighted, but your optimist can talk things through with you. Good luck.
